Jeff Hoagland is the President and CEO of the Dayton Development Coalition (DDC). The Coalition is the Dayton Region’s economic development organization and principle public advocate.

The DDC is a non-profit economic development organization and is a regional network partner for JobsOhio. The DDC supports Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and other federal installations in the region, such as the Springfield Air National Guard Base and the VA Medical Center. The 14-county Dayton Region includes 1.8 million people in Southwestern Ohio. 

Prior to joining the DDC, Mr. Hoagland served as the City Manager of the City of Vandalia, Ohio. Prior to that service, Mr. Hoagland worked for the City of Kettering as their Economic Development Director and then the Assistant City Manager. He started his career working for Montgomery County in Community & Economic Development.

 Jeff is very actively involved in many associations and groups. He is a member of the Air and Space Force Civic Leader Program (CLP), as well as the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) CLP. He is past Chairman of The Big Hoopla NCAA First Four Local Operating Committee. Additionally, Jeff serves on several boards including Wright Brothers Institute (WBI) and Downtown Dayton Partnership. Jeff is also a member of the Greater Dayton Mayors and Managers Association, and the Air Force Association (AFA). Additionally, he is a member of the Association of Ohio Commodores. Jeff is frequently a guest lector in government classes at the University of Dayton and Wright State University. He and his wife are also very active with Catholic Social Services and youth sports.

Mr. Hoagland graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Dayton and a Master’s of Public Administration from Wright State University.

Jeff resides in Vandalia, OH, with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons Charlie and Jake. Jeff was born and raised in Elyria, Ohio (30 minutes west of Cleveland) and is the second youngest of nine (9) children.
