While there are plenty of different leadership styles that can be effective in running a company or organization, there are also certain leadership skills that can change the game. For any business to be successful, its leader must be passionate, strong willed, and equipped with the necessary knowledge to achieve long-term goals.

Jac Amerell is an accomplished Senior Executive and Board Member with more than 25 years of success across financial services, insurance, and investment management industries. Throughout his career, Jac has held various leadership positions including Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Finance Director at Northwestern Mutual, and Senior Vice President and Controller of Genworth Financial. For over 8 years, he has been the Controller for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.  

Jac received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, and Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin. He regularly participates in continuing education and professional development training and has completed the High-Performance Leadership Executive Education program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Jac has an abundance of experience as a Board Member and currently serves as the Treasurer for Michigan Dyslexia Institute.
